Wada-ya Think?

I was surfing the net and I came across this:

A sewing machine which can double as a lamp.

Now while I have to admit it’s got a cute little body and I like the multifunctional aspect, and it's got an aborable little name--The Sew, I think I’m going to stick to my good old Berninas. Just saying.

And while we’re on the subject of Bernina, did you know they now make skins—you know those things some people stick on their cell phones and laptops—so you can make your sewing machine all purty like.

You can cover your machine in roses

Or swirls

Or your dog.

They even have a race car.  For some reason I just can't imagine that's a big seller.  Just saying, not many of the Bernina ladies strike me as race car fans.  But maybe I'm wrong.  It's happened once before.

Personally, I prefer my machines all boring and simple like which is a shame cause this machine would be my dream machine of it didn't come with idiot dots all over it. Which is weird cause usually a well placed polka dot has the power to make me go week in the knees.

But I hear you can take the dots off.  So, if anyone is looking to buy me a fantastic X-Mas present I'll take one of these.  That's the Bernina Artista 635.  Heck, if you buy it for me, I'll make a skin with your face all over it so I can think of you every time I sew. Except now Cordelia is insisting I plaster HER face all over my machine.  Should I tell her she doesn't have one or is that just cruel?

Happy accessorizing
